The Quiet Weight is a short collection of coats, knits and wool in the colours of Porto in November: oat, charcoal, moss and rust. Every piece is cut and finished in our atelier by the river.

Two cloths, woven as one.

Double-faced wool is two layers woven together on the loom. We part them by hand at every edge and fold them in on themselves, so the Olmo coat needs no lining and no facing. It hangs by its own weight.

Six, sewn by hand on a shank so the coat closes without pulling.

Deep patch pockets

Set low enough to take a hand to the wrist.

Dropped shoulder

The seam sits past the shoulder point, so the coat falls straight from the collar.

Hand-finished hem

Felled by hand along the double-faced edge. No lining, no bulk.

    Two cloths, one pattern, no lining.
